Transmission cooling lines - what choices do I have?

 What choices do I have for the transmission cooling lines on a 3rd gen dodge. I had to modify the factory dodge lines for my Excursion cummins swap and I'm not satisfied with how they turned out (will work for now but not longterm).Anyone ever replace your stock lines with something else? Like hydraulic hose with JIC fittings?It appears as though JIC fittings will work on the tranny and the cooler mounting on the block. However, the cooler up front uses two short 1' hoses with quick connects before going to the hard line. I don't know how I would adapt to these?
